With our hands on training, you'll leave our class with more confidence as a responsible gun owner, and craving for more!

What to expect...

The course price is $165.00 or $115.00 for the 8 hour portion where upon completing the course, you will receive your certificate which you will use to apply for the Illinois Concealed Carry Permit. We also offer 3 hour renewal classes for $65.

Our classes are held at our facility located at 72 Stonehill Rd. Unit E & F, Oswego, IL 60543.  We now offer evening classes as well! Please watch out for those as they come available.

On day one we will be going over gun handling skills, gun safety, fundamentals of marksmanship, disassembly and assembly of the guns, holsters and holster usage, gun cleaning, etc.  Day two we are working mainly on the legal aspects of carrying concealed, interactions with police, and the pistol qualification which usually takes place at a local outdoor range. 

During the training we will be conducting, we recommend you have at least 100 rounds of ammunition for your gun that you will be using (30rds for qualification/the rest for practicing).  If you do not have a gun, we can provide one for you, or you may rent one from the range. If you need ammunition and do not have a FOID, also please let us know and we will arrange it for you. The qualification is 30 rounds. However if time allows, we would like to do drills to work on fundamentals, so we'd recommend at least 100 rounds (totally up to you).
