PISTOL HANDLING SKILLS

In this three hour block of training, we will focus on weapons handling skills to include different weapons postures (high ready, low ready, extended gun), immediate action drills for misfire procedures and speed reloads). This course will prepare the student for the next steps in advancing their skills into the intermediate and advanced levels. 

The course will include SIRT laser training guns, personal handguns for dry fire (MANTIS laser training system and snap caps), virtual live fire training system and UTM Simunition guns (Glock 19) for “live fire” type shooting. Simunition guns are designed for the most realistic training with a gun without using live rounds.

This course is designed for the student with limited weapons handling skills and training, or is just in need of a refresher course.

What will I need for this course?

Please bring your personal home defense pistol or your every day carry. If you do not own one, please let us know in advance.
